Asociatia cercetatorilor din domeniul lingvisticii teoretice si aplicate > Conferences > SUM 2016

NEW Call for papers is available.

The 4th edition of the conference Structure, Use and Meaning (SUM) takes place in Braşov (Romania) between 21-24 September 2016 and aims to bring together researchers and practitioners in the field of theoretical and applied linguistics with a view to promoting interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue and enhancing an eclectic approach to the study of language (text linguistics, intercultural communication, language acquisition, language teaching, phonology, morphology, and syntax, semantics and pragmatics of intercultural discourse, stylistics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, lexicology and lexicography, translation studies, (critical) discourse analysis, current research methods in linguistics). At the same time, this conference provides an opportunity to re-enforce the dialogue on research and collaboration in academic and professional contexts. Such collaboration is fundamental to the design and implementation of effective pedagogy, assessment, and curricula.

This year, we will host two events related to the conference:

    a workshop

    a panel

You are invited to submit your contribution to any of the 3 events by sending the completed Abstract form to before June 15, 2016. Details are available in the Submission and registration area.

The event is promoted by ConferenceAlertsLinguistList and on Sociolinguistic Events Calendar.
